Home again…

Well, I’m home from Cuba and I’m wondering where all the relaxation went.  I came home to five requests to be a vendor at rug hooking events and/or knitting events and one request to carry my rug hooking kits.  The problem is, I don’t have any kits available and with all the shows coming up I’m not sure when I’ll find time to make them.  I am really wondering how I had time to work full-time AND if I want to find the time to work full-time again.  It seems the store is really taking off and I am working full-time and then some just keeping up with all that is going on.

It’s a wonderful feeling though to see something that was only an idea and a dream a few years ago taking on a life of its own.  I just wish I didn’t have to run this quickly to keep up with it……..

  1. Forgot to mention that my friend and I dropped off 55 pounds of medical supplies to two clinics in Cuba. What a wonderful experience it was to be able to help a small community by carting supplies no longer needed/wanted here in Canada. I lost track of how many times I was kissed and thanked. Even if the weather hadn’t been just beautiful, that would have made the trip worth while.
